3. SITE OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

It is an online shop website open to the public that concentrates a wide range of products, proceeding to its pick-up in the store or to the delivery of these products at a communicated address. 

The purpose of the website is to provide general information about CASA DO BRILL’s products and services. The information (including the price of the products) published on the Site is provided only as an indication and without the commitment from CASA DO BRILL, registered trademark. We reserve the right to modify and update at any time the content of the Site and the information published therein, without having to notify the User.

CASA DO BRILL, registered trademark, makes every effort to provide users with correct and most up-to-date information on the Site. We commit to correct errors or omissions as soon as they have been brought to your attention. However, CASA DO BRILL, registered trademark, cannot be held responsible for the accuracy, update or completeness of the information published on the Website.

The user accepts that the products may present slight differences in relation to any visuals reported on the Site.

Our website can be viewed on a computer, tablet or smartphone for users' needs. Publication, manipulation, distribution and/or reproduction, in any format, of the contents, or of their copies, available on the website, for professional or commercial use are not permitted.

CASA DO BRILL, registered trademark, reserves the right to prosecute the authors of any unauthorized copying, reproduction or other use of its contents.

6. ORDER AND PURCHASE SCHEME

With the dispatch of the order, the contract of purchase and sale of the products available is formalized. As well as the inherent delivery service.

The price of the products and the delivery service is always referred to the one viewed at the time when user formalizes the purchase at the checkout process of the Site. The use of the service is subject to a minimum quantity of purchase defined in the checkout process.

The characteristics of the products provided are listed in the product catalogue available online unless there is a misspelling or a break in stock. Thus, all items mentioned on this site are limited to the existing stock.

All product photos and images on our website are non-contractual and purely illustrative.

The price presented for the products always includes the correspondent VAT rate.

7. HANDLING OF COMPLAINTS

8. RETURN

The Customer has 24 hours after the receipt of the goods to proceed with the resolution of the contract and the return of the goods, taking into account, however, the exceptions arising from the goods which, by their nature (meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, frozen, loose bread and all those with a short shelf-life) lead to deterioration in their return.

The deadline will start from the moment of receipt of the goods, and the costs of return are fully supported by the customer.

9.  APPLICABLE LAW AND COMPETENT COURTS

These general conditions are subject to the Luxembourgish law. In the event of a dispute, the courts of Luxembourg shall have sole jurisdiction.

 

B. PRIVACY POLICY

1.  GENERAL INFORMATION

CASA DO BRILL attaches great importance to protect and respect your privacy. This policy is intended to inform you about our practices regarding the collection, use and sharing of the information you are required to provide to us through our platform accessible through the www.brill.lu website.

This data protection statement applies to all our customers, future customers, visitors, subscribers to the website, external visitors accessing our establishments, and any third parties who have dealings with and whose personal data are processed by CASA DO BRILL.

2. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED

The personal data collected during the creation of an account at the Site are strictly limited to the data necessary for the provision of our services, i.e., name, title, address(s), telephone number and e-mail, as any other information communicated by the user. Obviously, your order data is saved as well. All data are collected by filling in the registration or via communication of the information via email or telephone.

3. PURPOSE AND TREATMENT OF PERSONAL DATA

The law requires that the processing of your personal information is based on a legally established basis. CASA DO BRILL collects personal data primarily in order to fulfil its contractual obligations with its clients and to answer the various questions of the interested parties and regarding their potential their purchases on our Site.

All these purposes we consider to be legitimate interests, for the proper performance of the contracted service.

    First Name; Last Name; Email; Phone contact - These are the means we use to communicate with you our promotional actions; Purchase history - Allows us to present you the products that are most relevant to you in our actions.

4. CONSERVATION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

The data collected shall be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, without prejudice to the right of CASA DO BRILL to retain certain data for a longer period due to legal/ regulatory obligations applicable to CASA DO BRILL, due to exceptional situations that would justify longer storage (judicial proceedings, etc.) 

We keep personal data in accordance with the retention period imposed by the regulation in force. We retain your personal data used for marketing until you cancel the authorization or ask us to delete them, in accordance with the legislation in force.
